APPLIED SCRUM LEARNING HOUR

What is the Applied Scrum Learning Hour?

Our commitment to our CSM and CSPO participants doesn't end with the workshop. We believe that ongoing education is important. That's why we offer a series of free virtual learning events. We hold events approximately once a month. Sometimes it's an Applied Scrum Coaching Huddle. Sometimes it's a webinar or fireside chat with a guest speaker. Whatever it is, all of our Learning Hours are designed with your Scrum journey in mind.

If you'd like to receive information about our free Learning Hour events as they're scheduled, subscribe to our monthly newsletter.

Can I earn SEUs and/or PDUs by attending the Learning Hour?

Absolutely! As you might have guessed, all of our Learning Hours are 1 hour long, so you can claim 1 SEU and/or 1 PDU toward your certification renewals for each event that you attend. If you're not sure how to claim your SEUs or PDUs, we'll send you information on how to do so following each Learning Hour.

You mentioned that some of your events are Applied Scrum Coaching Huddles? What is that?

The Coaching Huddle is a monthly informal but structured discussion surrounding different topics that our alumni ask us about. The Huddle takes place over Zoom and is facilitated by Certified Scrum Trainer Tamara Runyon. Members of the Huddle are also invited to join an exclusive Slack group to stay in touch between Huddles.

Why should I attend the Applied Scrum Coaching Huddle?

Why not? But seriously, there's endless reasons why you might want to attend. The purpose of the Huddle is to provide support to our Applied Scrum alumni, build a support network and sounding board for you and your peers, and create an environment for ongoing learning and encouragement. The Huddle provides an opportunity for you to...
  • Ask your trainer’s expert advice
  • Seek and share your own tips and tricks
  • Feel the support of your fellow ScrumMasters and Product Owners
  • Compare notes and stories from the trenches
  • Stay in touch with us and your peers in between Huddles on the Huddle Slack group
  • Like all our Learning Hours, earn up to 1 SEUs and/or PDUs per Huddle
